Ready Picked Strawberries

  • $6.50/L (2025)
  • Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • We do not take orders for ready-picked strawberries.

How to Pick Like a Pro

  • Pick with two fingers. Gently pinch the stem above the berry.
  • Look under the leaves. The best berries are often hidden!
  • Choose fully red berries. Avoid berries that are still green or white.
  • Be gentle. Ripe strawberries bruise easily.

Storing Your Strawberries

  • Fridge:
  • Do not wash until ready to eat.
  • Use a shallow container.
  • Place a paper towel at the bottom to absorb moisture.
  • Loosely cover the container.
  • Strawberries stored this way should last 2-3 days.
  • Freezing:
  • Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries.
  • Remove the stems.
  • Freeze the berries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Once frozen, transfer them to freezer bags.
  • Frozen strawberries are great for smoothies, baking, and jam!

Visitor Notes

  • Please dress appropriately for the field (hats, sunscreen, comfortable shoes).
  • Children must be supervised at all times.

Ready Picked Raspberries

  • Ready-picked raspberries: $9/L (2025) - you may place an order by phone or e-mail when available
  • Availability depends on weather and field conditions

How to Pick Like a Pro

  • Use a gentle touch. Raspberries are delicate and crush easily.
  • Hold the berry gently and pull—a ripe raspberry will pull away easily from the stem.
  • Don’t force it. If it resists, it’s not quite ready!
  • Use smaller containers. Keep berries from getting squished by picking in small batches.

Storing Your Raspberries

  • In the Fridge:
  • Raspberries are delicate and don’t keep well once wet.
  • If you choose to wash them, do so just before eating and enjoy them right away.
  • We simply pick out any leaves or field debris—the berries are safe to eat straight from the field.
  • Store in a shallow container in a single layer if possible.
  • Best enjoyed within 1–2 days.
  • Freezing Tips:
  • If you choose to wash your berries, make sure they are fully dry before proceeding
  • Freeze in a single layer on a baking sheet
  • Once frozen, transfer to freezer bags or containers
  • Great for smoothies, baking, and sauces!

Visitor Notes

  • Please dress appropriately for the field—hats, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Children are always welcome at the farm! That said, raspberry canes are a bit prickly, and raspberries take longer to fill a basket than strawberries—patience is key. You know your child best, so please plan accordingly.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • No pets are allowed in the fields, except for service animals.
  • Please be respectful of the plants, staff, and other pickers.
  • Only pick what you intend to buy.

Pumpkins are picked straight from the field—which means soil, vines, and a little adventure! We know many guests love to dress up for those perfect fall photos (and we love seeing them!), but this is your chance to embrace your inner farmer for a day. Here’s how to make the most of your visit:

  • Dress for the weather—layers are great, and there’s always a chance you’ll get a little dusty or dirty from the field.
  • Closed-toe shoes or boots are best for navigating uneven, sometimes soft or muddy ground.
  • You’re welcome to bring strollers or wagons, but keep in mind: big wheels work best in the patch.
  • The pumpkin fields are a good distance from the check-in area, but don’t worry—we provide tractor-drawn wagon rides to and from the fields so you don’t have to carry heavy pumpkins far.
  • Strollers and wagons can be placed on the flatbed wagon for easier transport, especially when the ground is wet or tricky to push through.
  • So bring your comfy shoes, a little flexibility, and your fall spirit—we’ll take care of the rest!
